2020 has not been easy for anyone in the digital printing industry. However, easy inks gmbh has weathered the crisis well on account of its large portfolio and broad international customer base. On 1 January 2021, the manufacturer of high-quality inks “Made in Germany” will begin a new chapter, as Andree Bölkow takes over the management of the company in the new year.

New Managing Director at easy inks gmbh

“I am very much looking forward to steering this healthy and dynamic company easy inks gmbh into the future,” says Flensburg native Andree Bölkow. “easy inks gmbh has been characterised by constant growth in recent years despite, at times, difficult market conditions. Its in-house ink production “Made in Germany” in Denzlingen has enabled the company to develop a large number of new and successful products. Building on this, I want to continue to tap into new segments and markets alongside the experienced team in the future.”

The family man has already demonstrated that he is well-connected in the graphics industry. The business administration graduate, with a degree from Bremen City University of Applied Sciences, began his career at a dental products manufacturer. In 2000 he relocated to Neuss, initially as a product manager for industrial adhesives at 3M Deutschland. Over the next two decades there, he held posts in a variety of business segments with increasing levels of responsibility. He gained extensive experience in project management as a Six Sigma Black Belt and through his involvement in a large business transformation project undertaken by the company.

His move into the digital printing and advertising technology sector subsequently led to him achieving success at the very top level, with Bölkow having made a name for himself in his role as Business Unit Leader Commercial Graphic Films DACH since 2016. Along with his team, he was responsible for all commercial and direct customers for graphic films in the DACH region. With his new focus on “high-quality inks”, it could be said that he is now switching sides in the market for digital print consumables.

“High-quality inks produced in accordance with European standards are at least as important as the films on which they are printed for achieving an excellent result,” he explains. “Thanks to its on-site manufacturing, with the inks produced by easy inks gmbh, end users are able to rely not only on formulations which adhere to environmental and occupational safety standards, but also on a stable supply chain. These are benefits which only easy inks gmbh is able to offer in Germany, and which will continue to gain greatly in significance over the coming years.” This type of solid foundation provides the optimum conditions for building on, and Bölkow already has a great deal of new ideas for easy inks gmbh, both in relation to product development and sales.

The easy inks gmbh founder Lothar Diebold will therefore be stepping down from the company at the end of the year. “I will always have a special place in my heart for digital printing,” says Diebold. “After all, I have spent well over 20 years of my working life in this dynamic industry. Alongside my team, I have also perhaps contributed to a small degree to its success. The next few years are certain to be equally challenging. However, I believe that with Andree Bölkow at the helm, easy inks gmbh will have a leader who can guide the company to further growth in the future. I wish him and easy inks gmbh all the best for the future.”
